The French have had quite a few victories. In 1754 they actually defeated George Washington at Fort Necessity.In WWI they defeated the Germans at Verdunn and in Camaroon, and in WWII the French Navy defeated the Thai Navy in the Gulf of Thailand.Granted, the last 2 were the only French victories in the 20th century, but you don't stay a sovereign nation without winning some wars.This is just one way that google spam is distorting history for some of the younger generation. Especially now, when more and more people are relying on the internet for accurate information, without knowing how to sift through through the garbage.
