hiya everyone (again)

this one's a good un!
our site is made up of 5 frames...

http://www.mindwavemedia.co.uk/draftstr ... index.html

2 of these frames are the main content 'windows' and are the frames that change when a user navigates through the site (the others being navigation), my question is this...

when navigating through the site, as the pages update there is a horrible white flash as the frameset loads new content(horrible, because the rest of the site is black)... is there anyway to stop this happening?

we cant find a way to set the default colour of a frame to black and this little problem is ruining my lovely design!

any help here is appreciated ....(how many times can i say that before people start to get bored i wonder!)

regards

michael
YOUR ALL DIAMOND GEEZAS

michaelok, you have an extra css link in the frm_main age.

<link rel="stylesheet" href=http://www.htmlforums.com/archive/index.php/"css/mystylesheet" type="text/css">

not doing anything.

well I couldn't see anywhere where it is loading a white background. maybe it the speed on how it is loaded. on my machine (not on the net) it deosn't show the white background.

edit: and you still have the bgcolor=#ffffff in therecool...

so you DONT get a white flash when navigating around the site?

well that solves that then!no, I DO get a white flash. it is because of the bgcolor="#ffffff" that is the only place I see it loading a white background. I don't get it when I save the site to my harddrive.
