"floating" frames

How can I have frames "floating" on top of a background image? I think I have the right idea, but I just want to make sure...do you have an example you could post so we can get a better idea of what you're talking about? Also, if you think you have the right idea could you post what it is so we can look at it and see what you're trying?that would probably be a good idea( )now that I've tried it, I don't have a clue what to do. I thought I had a script that would work, but it was just fixed the background and then added frames, so the background didn't show up anyway. This is the image I'm trying to "background-ize" behind the frames:
http://www.geocities.com/flyingbuttmonk ... inals2.jpg
then I would like to have the frames "floating" so that the whole (fixed) picture is included behind both the left frame and the right frame, kinda like this:
http://www.geocities.com/flyingbuttmonk ... ected1.jpg
of course, there would be scroll bars for both frames, but I don't have to patience to put those in this example picture (I just made it with paint, hoping it will help...)
If anyone knows what I'm talking about please help!!!
***I can't get the pictures to show up (when I preview it) for whatever reason, but they are at the given URLs if you wish to view them.***oops... the given URLs being:
http://www.geocities.com/flyingbuttmonk ... inals2.jpg
(for the first image)
and
