Hi All:
Anyone here ever work with XML files for Flight Simulator? I'm trying to do something that's a bit over my pointy head...I could use some help.
Background: Flight Sim uses various run-time parameters for xml instruments (airspeed, altitude, etc).
My goal:
Grab certain parameters, apply those run-time parameter values to a formula, and then display the results.
I have the full list of Flight Sim parameters, I have the required formulas, and I can provide example code from existing gauges. I've worked quite a bit with gauge XML code, but I'm still at "hacker" level; I can grab the parameters, read and display them just fine, but I cannot figure out how to apply the formula and set it to a variable that I can display.
Any help would be greatly appreciated...thanks in advance.
