can any body help me in making dropdowns which have a very flat looking apperance. i used css and it is working nice and fine for textboxes and textareas but not for dropdowns. I used following styler for textboxes:

border:1px solid #00000;
}
the above class does not work for the dropdowns...please help as i want to make a consistent looking interface.The only properties that work x-browser in options are; background and color.
