just check your pages at the several datacenter quick check tools * you can add this to your hosts file t osee the new PRs from googletoolbar64.233.167.104 toolbarqueries.google.comGoogle is so PR mean at this update, dont worry if you see low PRs at your subpages because looks like pushing PR value from main pages to subpages become more harder by this PR update.I also have to mention that, I havent lost the bet on my post http://www.ozzu.com/sutra310180.htmlBecause this BL&PR update is from January 26-30 as i confirmed from the updated backlinks are all from late January.Well I see it my page hasn't improved anywhere on google..This PR update will not change your results in Google right away. You may see something big a few weeks down the line, but this is just a visual PR update. I really don't pay attention to them that much anymore. It looks like Google changed a few things with the PR algo as many of my sites dropped in PR (many other's peoples sites as well), but not the first time this has happened.Don't get to wound up in PR, just get wound up in the serps!Well I'm not that bothered with the ranks just want my site to be more visible in google.. I got indexed about a week ago and have links with a few good sites.. so hoping of better traffic..vetofunk wrote:I went from a lowly 3 to a lowly 4 on my main page But strangely , some of my sub-pages went from 0 to 4.......I must work to get my main page to 5 or even 6 at the next update.....Any tips merlin wrote:wow i wish this was accurate lol.Sure - To be frank I am not a webmaster or remotely a pro at this game...as you will see by my website But, my clients/customers like it, and I guess thats what counts eh !I always undestood that PR is predominantly back links - something which I havent paid much attention to until recently.......so I would hazard a guess and say that any change in my PR is not due to back links - especially the sub pages (some of which have the same rank as my main page). Unless , internal linking counts in the algo!I have spent a lot of time on tryng to optimise my pages for SERPS - with some success for my target key words The only problem is though - in an update, if you increase PR, the chances are some of your competitiors will too......seems like square 1 to me meman wrote:Hi all, I would like to share something about this google page rank updation.Really i have started the website last november..Now I got the PR 4 for all pages except for articles section.is it really a good thing?..is it gurantee that to drive a traffic from google hits?..Hi,I launched a software website in the month of Jan and i got PR3, wow!its wwwdellsatcom ( correct the url by putting dots if you want to view)3 of my sites reached PR4chouLike even Google described, Pagerank is a measure of the importance of a web page. But this is all and has nothing to do to drive guaranteed traffic from google something like if you have a pr6 you will get 1k unique daily from google, if pr7 then 10k daily .. Forexample search Google for "search engine", Google is at the 6th. result altough has the biggest PR but at the first result you will see a PR8 web-site ranking better than google because searchenginewatch.com has much more information regarding what "search engine" keywords describe and must have too many backlinks containing "search engine" keywords though the domain name is searchenginewatch.com , if you think people links to them just with their domain name , they already include those keywords automatically at all of their backlinks.rDolay wrote:
