hey, i'm having a little problem...
How do i leech a file from site a(not mine) to site b(mine).
assuming i have ftp access for site b but not for site a.
e.g. move file from sitea to siteb

anyhelp would b appeericiated.you can'tmmm gutted. lol o well. thanks newaysif the file is not a serverside script why can't you just get it from the link on sitea and Download it to your hard drive and then upload it to siteb
you can do this on any page as long as it is not php, asp, cgi.Because I don't want the site to log MY ip address from Download ing several different files. I want it to be a secret from them that I have the files.

basically you want to steal files from another site which you generally shouldn't have?

mmm yer. lol. the thing is i logged in once. so they can trace it back to my login. if they where to match ips. which of course they most likely wouldn't, after leaving such a big gap... its' quite funny really... they go to the trouble of a login and password but don't think to block any permissions to files. Then they decide that it would be a gud idea to store them in a numerical order. but i really jst wanna be sure they can't trace it back to me. mmkay..so basically...you want to exploit someones stupidity by example?uh.. no. there is a point to getting the files... jst a very weak one. meh, screw it, i'll jst go to a net cafe or sumthing then email them thru 2 me.isn't it illegal to do what you are doing?
if you are a member and you got access to a file that only members could have and you stick tha tfile on your site for free then you maybe doing a copyright infringment and you can get in trouble. I would rethink on what you are doing.hmm... I duno. I never agreed to any agreement. I dnt wanna put those files on my site, I wana put them on my hard drive.than so what is they see your IP, your a member anyway so they have it so why worry about it.
