Interesting site, to say the least.
The positives:
  • It's a good unofficial vB fans guide

The negatives:
  • Some people discuss piracy on here - but I expect Jelsoft will try any means to stop them. Not that I encourage piracy, or support it, but inevitably, piracy is always going to be discussed.

One question - why do some people installed nulled versions on localhost/127.0.0.1 - surely Jelsoft or PirateReports will catch them? Or am I wrong? Surely some people who install nulled scripts on localhost are wrong to think this? (and by localhost, I mean the ones where people can't access via your IP address, as some localhost Apache/WAMP/XAMPP installs are!)

One more question... what the heck are GYSN and nullified by GYSN??

Other than that, this is a good site... hope the good work continues!
The unofficial vBulletin sites are just as good as www.vbulletin.com

Personal bias aside, good luck to your site, and I wish you well.

(note: not posting from my regular computer tonight, I'm in another location as I write this!)

The negatives = Hmmmm...not sure you gonna like it here...lol

GYSN = Respected Null Group

nullified by GYSN = A script nulled by GYSN

127.0.0.1 = Installing a nulled script on localhost allows you to test it out before you buy it, theres no point spending out money if you can't get the hang of it or decide you don't like it.

Other than that = Thank you :)

Thanks for replying :)

One more question - theoretically, if someone did install a nulled script/version of vBulletin on localhost, would Jelsoft/PirateReports be able to catch them or not? (although I suppose the .htaccess trick you mentioned would stop them, but has anyone here done that on localhost? Feedback appreciated!)

As for GYSN, I'd heard of the abbreviation, but never the group - thanks for making me aware of them, and not just thinking it was some web abbreviation.
