Extended Chars in XML

Hello all,I am wanting to parse extended German Language characters in my XML document,such as &szlig; (?. When I use IE5 to view the file I get"Reference to undefined entity 'szlig'. Line 89, Position 21".The correct char is actually displayed even though this error is thrown.I do have:<?xml version="1.0" encoding="iso-8859-1" ?>at the top of the XML document, whats wrong?
