HELP!!!
I have an MS EXCEL workbook with 5 sheets that holds data corresponding to 5 seperate mySQL tables. SOme of these sheets have a column-to-column relationship, while two have a column-to-row relationship. I am using ACCESS as front-end for the mySQL (primarily for reporting, etc) thru myODBC ver2.50.39. I would like to get this data into the tables in a 'one-shot' process. I've researched inporting the data directly thru ACCESS but for my column-to-row sheets this is no good. Also looked at exporting from EXCEL directly to the mySQL db....but not much out there (plus EXCEL SUCKS!! with any DAO export)...anybody had something similiar? I know I could find a workable solution in a 3 or 4 step process (i.e. convert data, Export from EXCEL TO txt, import thru ACCESS) , but I will have 6 semi-computer literate people running the thru the process...
any help would be greatly appreciated
