Let's say that google adword traffic estimator, reports 10,000 searches a month for a given keyword.
If i will seo my website and be on #1 , how many clicks i will get?
I am asking this because i am on #18 for a keyword reported to have 50,000 searches a month, and i only get...10 visits a month. About 50-60% off the traffic and revenue,
#2: 30%
#3: 15%
Then it trickles from there, but thats just a generalization, It often doesn't fall that way. I found out an sample from an AOL search leak about click ration
Total Searches:9,038,794
Total Clicks: 4,926,623
Click Rank1: 2,075,765
Click Rank2: 586,100 = 3.5x less
Click Rank3: 418,643 = 4.9x less
Click Rank4: 298,532 = 6.9x less
Click Rank5: 242,169 = 8.5x less
Click Rank6: 199,541 = 10.4x less
Click Rank7: 168,080 = 12.3x less
Click Rank8: 148,489 = 14.0x less
Click Rank9: 140,356 = 14.8x less
Click Rank10: 147,551 = 14.1x less Quote: Originally Posted by softgroups Let's say that google adword traffic estimator, reports 10,000 searches a month for a given keyword.

Generally, searchers don't go onto the 2nd page while searching. The ones that do, haven't found what they are looking for.

what it says there is searches not clicks on the results..
