I think this is something related to some variable in php.ini file .
to fix this ask ur host , budd.
to chek and increase the max_execution_time variable in php.ini.
need an apache , Rehybernation .

Do you have mods installed? Any of them have to do with the editor? Actually, I would try to disable the hooks first and see if the problem goes away that will at least tell you if a MOD is breaking your editor.

Try that before you ask your host to fix "their" problem, LOL.
