Error in web.config file (webservice)

When tried to run the webservice(used to retrieve data from the datbase) error is shown at the this line of web.config file.<BR><authentication mode="windows"/>.Sql2000 is used as the server.<BR>User id and password is used to connect to the database.<BR>When I tried with out database webservice worked.<BR>So please tell how can i solve the problem?What authentication mode I should use.<BR><BR>Thanks joe
