Hope somebody can provid me with a clue to where am I wrong.
I am trying to install Oracle 8.1.15 on my Linux machine(Linux version RedHat6.2 upgraded the kernel rpm in the folder i686of the upgrade CDROM). I have already downloaded JRE & carried out all the steps required before running OUI. But when I run ./runinstaller program I get the error message:
Initializing Java Virtual Machine from /usr/local/jre/bin/jre
