I have a client that needs periodically send several groups of emails ranging in size from 100 to 500 in each group. These are voluntary addresses for her business, networking group, chamber of commerce, etc. It is not unsolicited spam.

The client is non computer savvy. I should say she is COMPLETELY CLUELESS!!!! . . . OK, I feel better now. Basically she can start the computer and pick up her email through Hotmail. I need to set her up with a simple system.

I am a bit concerned about email limitation at TCH. Is there a free/simple app that will allow for easy organization of email groups and delay sending to stay within the limitations of TCH? Mailman might work if it delays sends . . . anyone know? I don't really want to use Mailman because it is probably to complex for this client. A local app would probably work better. I have used Gammadyne mailer which is awsome, but way overkill for this project.

Another is phplist
http://tincan.co.uk/phplist

and also supports Batch Processing.
DADA looks pretty slick and might do the trick. Referred to this link for install:

http://www.totalchoicehosting.com/forums/i...showtopic=13520

thanks!
You should always follow the latest install instructions for their site.
There may be a new version and things may be in differet places now.
If only there WERE instructions! The page is blank on the site. Used the readme and comments in the config file. The only thing that went wrong was I changed DADA directory to lower case. Changed it back and all worked fine.

I thoroughly checked it numerous times and the content area was blank. Went back some hours later and the content was there. Probably my local settings.
