windows

Hi,

I'm working on a Japanese web site, and need a editor capable of reading Japanese characters and being able to save the document in an .html that is competant.

Will most editors work or what about notepad?

comments? Suggestions?

Thanks,
:Dany editor will work as it replies on the OS to display whatever language is no the OS. as long as you have the specified language loadedI'm not sure if I completely understand.

I'm running W2P with MS's Japanese input program allowing me to read/write Japanese characters. However, when I type in the characters they show up fine until I press the [Enter] button to input them into the text area, then they turn to all question marks in the editor.

Is their a view/encoding issue I'm missing here on the editor?
:DDon't forget the meta tags for the Content-Type (character Set), and Content-Language (Language) too!

Instead of ISO-8859-1 you'll need UTF-8 or ISO-2022 or somesuchlike.

The codes for language en come from ISO 639 and for country gb come from ISO 3166.
