I've been experimenting with several blog niches for quite a while now and from my experience, the easiest way to get traffic was to help people in fixing their problems.
These problems could be computer related, console related, game related, program specific, etc.
The best and easy way that I've found to get traffic is solving game-related issues.
In example:
Google up these keywords:
<Game Name> Blackscreen
<Game Name> Crash to Desktop
<Game Name> Yellow textures
<Game Name> installation problems
<Game Name> physxloader dll
If can' think of a game to search for, here's one
Left 4 Dead 2 Crash to Desktop
(Left 4 dead 2 is a game that just came out)
If you browse the results, you'll note that people (gamers in this case) are actively searching for answers to their problems. What does it mean for your SEO? Instead of people visiting your site just once, you'd get traffic that comes back for more!

All the best, I get your point. But I think it will always depend on what kind of site do you got. I guess there are certain sites that can't have those "help" topics that you posted as an example. Yeah sure it can be done but it will surely need a lot of knowledge, understanding or experience for a certain field to provide your visitors some reliable answers to their questions. And if you are not reliable, I don't think people will come back to your site and seek for more help.

I am also agree with this if you have a good problem solving skills then visitors will definitely come to your sites again & again. Saying is easy and doing is difficult, Easy way of getting targetted traffic is not easy people always find a solution for their problems, if your site can provide this solution, then people will seek the solution at there and thus increase your website traffic Works very well for that niche, but it doesn't mean that it will also work perfectly with the others. It varies from niche to niche
I've done that before with Yahoo! Answers, different niche, got some traffic but no conversation. agree with you, so that your may use your meta tag like how to solve men health, how to fixed computer software, and how to blaaaaa....... Yes this is good tip. Helping other's will give you more respect good help buddy...and i have to agree with them, saying is easy but doing is difficult..and we need a little bit patient before we can achieve our goal
