Howdy!<br /><br />I have a database I wish to get rid of, and I seem to recall the old look of PHPMyAdmin used to have tabs for DROP and EMPTY. But now I can't find them. Can someone point me in the right direction to Drop a database?<br /><br />Thanks<!--content-->
Hi erisande<br /><br />you can drop tables by going into CPANEL then under the MySql Database Icon<br />Down towards the bottom there is phpMyAdmin Click that <br />that will show you your Datbases<br />click Database you want<br />then on the top you should see Drop towards the top right<br />hope this helps<!--content-->
I see the tabs for:<br />Structure, SQL, Export, Search, and Query.<br /><br />There used to be 2 more:<br />Empty and Drop<br />which were red colored, but they are not there... Looks like Ticket Time... I must have something set incorrectly, because when I click the DB name (circled in red), this is the screen I get. Thanks for the instructions. I tried to do the same thing with a test database and I am coming up empty as well , I tried to drop the database with the SQL command as well and Drop Database command is disabled ..... Ticket time will probably be best answer <br />Sorry<!--content-->
I just realized: your graphic shows the controls for a table, not the database itself. I can get those controls for tables. I thank you again for your help. I'll figure something out, I am sure.<!--content-->

I really like the fact that the Support staff as well as all the users here seem to help each other out... BUT I found out the database I was trying to delete wasn't even one I had created! It was a test the last tech person created on my account to test a previous problem.
