Dropped Domain Tools & Lists ?

Hi guys

I've pretty much dabbled in most aspects of webmastering but one area I haven't touched is picking up old domains that have been dropped or about to be dropped. I own a fairly large network of sites and picking up domains so that i can re-direct related traffic would be great.

Question: Are there any good tools and lists that I can use to do my research or even select expiring domains ?
