How do you create a java drop down menu to drop over a frame? is it even possible?

Thanks in Advance.Well I beleve that it is not possible to have a javascript drop down menu drop over a frame! Did you mean javascript? If its a basic HTML menu then it already does. Hope that helps. :DHi Travstar...

I know of a javascript-generated menu that contains documentation on how to use it with frames so that it will bleed-over into an adjacent frame.

I never tried it myself (I'm a "frames-free" girl!), but you might try this link:

http://www.dynamicdrive.com/dynamicinde ... /index.htm

The documentation is in the ZIP file that is accessed via a link on the page (about mid-way down... under the code-box).

Good luck! :)
;) khad the same problem as the thread creator stated...

thx alot khaki for the tips...

I will look at that now thxnewer versions should not have problem showing menu on top of iframes, did you try to use that...?khalid,

never versions of what?

and is "iframe" the same thing as a regular frame.

---------------------

thx dave, I have already read that post.

dont have time to look at it now, will do it tomorrowversions 6> of IE and NS both will display menu overlaping the iframe, and yes,if there has to be a frame,i'd say inline(iframe) frame is a better choice..
iframes will respect the css properties just as any other element on the page,
