Drop down list box with down arrow on left

Just a quick question:
Is this possible with CSS ? Or do any of you know of any way to accomplish this?

Michael.<select name="select1" dir="rtl">Excellent. Thankyou.Ah . . . rtl reverses the direction of the text. I don't want this to occur (Right To Left).
Any other suggestions?The text is aligned right. In FF you can re-align the text with
option {text-align:left;}
IE will not do this.
