Hello all!
Does Internet Explorer understand the border type dotted? Did they turn it orf like with blink?
It just displays the line as dashed which i find a bit disgusting tbh. How can i get around it?
Thanks anyway!quote from acun.com
Internet Explorer 5.5 supports all border styles. Internet Explorer 4.0 - 5.0 do not support the "dotted" and "dashed" values
try increasing the px width of the border.ah! that is annoying!
thanks anywayYet another stupid fact about IE: it renders dotted borders as dashed. You'll have to use this hack (http://kalsey.com/2003/07/css_dotted_borders_in_ie/) to workaround it.Mozilla is telling me that URL is wrong!Works fine here...Not sure about any other versions, but IE 6 supports the dotted border fine, as long as the width is 2px or more. Also, it seems IE screws up the dashed border. I'm not exactly sure about any other widths, but check out this link (http://171.75.160.15/bordertest.gif) to see what I mean. (Hosted off my PC, dial-up, dynamic IP. So if you get here late, you might not see it).lol
Internet Explorer is disgracefully bad!
