to be honest what your doing is a bit cheeky i think anyways. but i dont think that hack exists.
Its not cheeky, vBTeam does it, and i see nothing wrong with it, what i reckon, is if people using forum for its full advantage and they also love it and website helps them somehow, people always could donate 10$ to Support it/domain/hosting AND also they could get some special things, like bigger PM box, Hidden Sections of forum, etc ... Thats what happening on his/her forum.. So what he does, is right, because he/she paid for hosting/domain, no one helped, thats why somehow he/she needs to recover the money .... Man, just lay off him, its his forum...
And that hack does not need to exist, If he would be using Some kind of "Ad Management System" (Plenty Found on vBTeam.info), and when they pay, it moves them to the Usergroup that Bypass the Ad Management system

I'm okay with that and i dont take the stuff personally i do agree for you to pay to see some hiden stuff around the forum but not to see the adds?
people in my forum donate if they want to i make enough money with adds so i'm all good.

i saw the same kind of mod working on other forum so i thought if we have something similar here.
In that ads were being displayed for normal users and they were getting message donate if you dont want ads to be displayed
