The last month I added a rewrite rule in my .htaccess file to add a leading "www" to Url without it:....................................................................................rewritecond %{http_HOST} ^zam\.it [NC]RewriteRule (.*) http://www.zam.it/$1 [R=301,L]....................................................................................Yesterday, after google spidering, my website has been heavy penalized. I was on the first page at top position with hundred keywords. The same keywords are now on the 10th page of google results.Any Idea?I don't know what caused the penalization, But im fairly certain it's not your 301 redirect. It's standard practice to redirect users like that, Even google do it.could be the google update that causes this and like meman said: the 301 most likely will not cause the penalty.I suggest you get some more inbound link for that keywords i.e. buying links or trading link with other sites.
