Domain name for college blog

I'm looking at launching a college themed blog similar to <!-- w --><a class="postlink" href="http://www.co-edmagazine.com">www.co-edmagazine.com</a><!-- w --> and I'm trying to think of a site name and domain name. I came up with the name 5AM and I really liked it, because it's really short (the idea was that students stay up late studying). But the .com, .net, .org, etc are all taken. I was thinking about getting it as a .tk but a few people on this forum said they didn't like .tk domains and that .com or .net would be best. Any ideas? +rep and free ad spots to anyone who helps
