I use one site for backlinking which allow comments from facebook...
On the site, my links are dofollow but when i check its roots from Google analytics, they appear in "facebook.com (referral)" and link location is "http://facebook.com/l.php" (means a single one link..., not links) which says, "The page you requested was not found."

So, these links will be calculated by google as dofollow, or even get calculated or not ??? I don't think, if they (link in the facebook profile) can be counted as backlinks. But facebook page is indexed by Google. Quote: Originally Posted by psdtowp.biz I don't think, if they (link in the facebook profile) can be counted as backlinks. I would like to know if you know because facts can lead to decision not thoughts in this matter...

Actually FB links are nofollow but as I have mentioned, the link posted on the site but analytics show them in facebook referral...
And ya, there are near 50 links I have putted but It shows all traffic from the same link...
So I should consider it as backlinks or not ?? Google Analytics is a stat counter, so it will show it in the referral website if you are getting visitors from there. There is no relation of nofollow tag in it. Back links of facebook are no follow that's why you get this result. Use facebook to get traffic. do not use it for back-links. Back link is not assured by Facebook but google indexes it's pages. I don't think so......? Facebook is increasing the back links. If you want a increasing your backlinks posting and commenting on Do follows blog. your post will get indexed no other benefit. No. According to a post on Webmaster World, links from Facebook do not affect Page Rank or anything like that. However, I have heard that if your page on Facebook gets enough Likes that it may rank well on Bing. I haven't read anything that confirms this though. Thank you very much for your support and time to help me in my question... Facebook or any social networking sites generate high traffic but not responsible for back links.
