Hi guys!
Hope you can help me crack this nut!
Many users who own Private blog networks state that each outgoing-link should have some relevant content supporting it on-page.
Let's say we have a strong PR3 domain that have 10 OBL to my money sites. Why would the link-juice that flows trough these links get stronger by adding content?
Hope you understand me well.
Thanks! It is because if there is relevant content around the link, the link gets more power in the eyes of search engines.. For example, if you have a post about apples and your link goes to a site about money, that is not relevant and search engines would find it strange why there would be such a link there..
If the content was about money and the link would go to a site about money that would make the link much better.. So if you have 10 links to 10 different niches, they will help of course, but not as much as if you would have one link per post which would also have relevant content going with that link.. I understand what you are saying, but is there any research behind this at all or just pure speculation?
