Please some one give me right solution for this query. Actually my link count in Yahoo was 37,100 last month but today its shows 46,254 which is a difference of 9 thousands links lead compared to last month. How come this possible. But i have increased my internal links in website does it counts to Yahoo link count i.e will each internal link count as a back link.
Please some one guide me regarding this. What would be the correct thing that is going on.
Internal linking is used to spread your page pr between your pages and get the treasured 'double indented listing' in the search engines

And yes, it's not uncommon for the results to differ from time to time. Not sure if it's the result of multiple data centers or different indexes but not something I would concern myself with.
"Quantity" is much like Google's Foolbar; it's a metric that should be ignored. Work on the quality of the inbound links. A handful of solid inbound links can do wonders for your ranking. If you're focusing just on quantity, you'll find yourself asking "why" quite often.

The number of backlinks that show in Yahoo is not necessary that those are all true backlink for you. Sometimes it is not accurate and they are just giving sample of your backlinks.
