i was wondering if google makes any difference between a plain text (with no tables, font sizes, bold, etc.) and the same text, but with many tables and so.because i use MS frontpage to make pages, and i've realized that there are a lot of s and so, sometimes even cutting a word, e.g. hellodo i have to change it or it doesn't matter?also, i would like to know if the meta-tag for description can be same on every page, or do i have to make a new description for each page?thanks in advance Hey there,If you are developing pages for search engines, different descriptions on every page is a must. There is no quick and easy way to create a website if you want it to be a quality website. My advice is do not take a lazy route by skipping important aspects such as this.. trust me.. we have all tried it I would look into learning CSS. Tables are bad if you are relying on it for structure.Sincerely,Travis Waltershey, thanks for the quick and concrete reply so am already working to change all meta-tag descriptions.but what about the issue with the -tags?Quote:span tags are fine, dont use nestled tables (3 tables one inside the other). To see what your site looks like to a bot use this linkhttp://www.gritechnologies.com/tools/di ... INHERE.comI think the span tags are affecting google, because they are seen as two words. If you don't mind that you can leave it as it is. I have some other quick seo tips:- Don't use tables for the lay-out, use divs and css instead. (some examples..)- Write clear titles. (read more..)- Use
,
, etc. for headers.- Mark your keywords: keyword- But don't spam keywords- Get some quality backlinks, that's really important for high google rankingah, and one question, do the meta-tag-keywords have to be the same, or also different on every page?I would make those different aswell, but not all keywords has to be different.Like:Home page: Ozzu webmaster forumGoogle forum: Ozzu webmaster forum google seo]OK, thanks a lot Fabinator great help and great links.
