Does having a SEO company logo text on a website penilize the site? I dont think it should be penalize. There is nothing wrong by putting seo company logo or text on your site. I don't think it would lead to a penalty but you would not get any benefits from having it on site, either, IMO.

Thanks, What type of benefits? Everyone else above already said about no penalization. My question is - Where did you get this information from? It does not make any sense from the beginning. I do not like the kind of wrong information spread out. no penisliation as why would google penalise because there is an image/text that says seo in it? if you link to a seo site now would v7n get penalised?
it does benefit the seo company though if they've done a good job as visitors of the site may want to use the same company as they have good success. This doesn't attract any sort of penalty. The only sort of link out that can hurt a site is one that is to "bad neighborhoods, " which are generally defined as sites that violate search engine guidelines.
A link from your site can leak PageRank. You can prevent that by stipulating that a no-follow attribute is added. However, if you are pleased with your SEO, then it's a nice vote of confidence, and the amount of leaked PR is negligible.
You might also reasonably request and expect that your SEO link back to you in kind. It not should be penalize but commonly logos in image form so it better to use image logo
