hi i would just like to hear from you guys if putting a forum to a site can be beneficial? Thanks! It helps especially when there are many regular participants in that forum foryour site to ranks faster than you thought. btw u look cute! Well, that all depends... If you want a forum to become a primary members area & bases for your site, it Takes Time to build (Dedication - Determination - Discipline). Most forums are Not successful to the level of the handful you may find like Ozzu, Digital Point, Webmaster-talk, V7N, WebDevforums, Etc...Now, if you are simply looking at a Forum as a Customer service application & Retention aid, then Ya, Thats a GREAT idea (With Minimal marketing effort required apart from your Main site)I have a forum myself, Simply for Customer Service though.Good luck to you...Yup, definitely, a forum used customer service is a very good one! You will definitely have regular participants in there! Depends on what it is. In most cases it doesn't hurt your site to have a forum. It really benefits to have a forum if it's for a hosting service or for any other service that requires any type of support. It also can be used just as a discussion board. Anyway, that's what a forum is, but what I mean by that is to use it for discussing everyday things and just for conversation. That would only work if it's for some personal use... like for your blog or maybe profile like myspace... they have a discussion system that works like a forum.Forums can help you in terms of backlinks...Bogey wrote:yup, proven... especially when it gets more knowledgable poster. If there are lots of visitors then put up a forum and let your visitors interact.wolvie wrote:x3mario wrote:coolslko wrote:okay thanks for the ideas... but how do you think one can successfully promote a forum? Its depends.
