Hello friends
I wanted to know if domain extensions play any role on SEO ?
Like .com, .net or .org.
Thanks not really. You can rank for domain a little easier with a .com I don't think it does for SEO, but for traffic .com is still the standard. Doesn't apply. Some folks may be turned off with trashier TLDs like *.info and *.biz. That's what you have to watch out for. Quote: Originally Posted by AmySueN

Correct me if I am wrong but I don't see why .com should be the standard for traffic when you can get the traffic that you want with proper and effective internet marketing strategies applied no matter what domain extension you are using. Not at all!....If there any seo effect from the domain it will be the domain age and that the domain is not flagged as bad domain...but the extension has nothing to do what so ever with SEO
