I need help trying to post a picture on to googles images however i cant do it! i have tried different things but none worked!A completely uneducated guess and i'd hope someone would come along and correct this if i'm wrong.Google Images is compiled from the "Alternative" text to an image. It is found by google, you don't submit it. They have spiders that crawl the web searching for alternative words that match the images provided in the website code. If you notice when you click on an image in Google Images the image is always hosted on another website. In good time your image will be spotted by Google and other search engines and will appear in whichever search is appropriate for the image in good time.Again, this is how i believe it works. I might be incorrect and if so i apologise. I hope someone can come along and clarify this.Yes indeed.I have 2 websites and both have pictures in the Google images. My pictures rank in the the top 10 in Google queries. Google picked up my website images automatically. I did not submit it.http://www.getafirmbutt.com http://www.6pack.co.zaYes, you cannot submit your images to Google. Google will have to find them. Google looks at Alt text (as mentioned earlier), text around the picture in the content and the file name itself. Also rename the file aswell and use the same description in the alt tag.Alternative text and meta tags will be whats your looking for. It connects to keywords to seach.Just like how you would type for example pillows on google, you would see sites come up with pillows and such and the same will work with images, just have to match more of the keywords.I really believe this is how it's done, cause i find many of this done with my seaching before.
