President Musharraf has levelled a charge against former CJ Ch. Iftikhar, deposed Judge Justice Khalil Ramday, Nawaz Sharif and Supreme Court Bar Association President Aitzaz Ahsan for hatching a conspiracy against him to thwart his bid for re-election. In an interview to an English newspaper, Aitzaz said that he along with Deposed CJ Ch. Iftikhar are going to sue President Musharraf to claim demages worth 2 billion for levelling false allegations and bring their names into disrepute through a defamation suit. Which side is to blame? What was the state of emergency for?
