I just did a link:competitiordotcom on google, and it shows a lot of backlinks from the internal pages of the competitors site to theiw own homepage. Just wondering, are these links relevant (other than from a user's navigation point of view) in terms of seo, and does google give credit to sites for these links? They do count, But not as much as links from other sites.how many of them count?all of them count?Link will always be a link. It doesn't matter if its internal or external. however it should be relevant.shervinrv wrote:Every relevant page you own should be interlinked.Link structure of a site will affect its SEO but as stated will not have as high a value if it was an external link (it may well just have a neglible affect - but all these minor things produce a greater cumulative affect)- it also helps to avoid orphan pages that bring search spiders to a standstill. This helps making the site more search engine friendly as well as more user friendly in terms of site navigation.- internal links can make or break your site from a users point of view as if there is no relevance attached the overall view of the site is poor (so only doing relevant internal links will help essentially).I think all links are counted whether its from internal or external...or whether its from sites having 0 PR or high PR ..so all the links have importance ....Puneet Mgive me that, give me that, give me give me give me that, give me that link, give me that, give me give me that, give me that link, give me that, give me give me that link.
