I want to use c# at work to develop a/some desktop applications. I am apprehensive because i have no desire to learn asp.net as i don't like it. So, what I want to know is whether or not learning c# will be a waste of time if I won't be able to apply it to anything else besides applications at work. is it possible to be hired as a c# developer without asp.net knowledge? my guess is no.
