Do headphones get spoiled/messed if i use them in the cold temperature?

what about this sony (back head style headphone) ? like when i walk in the cold like -20 wind chill in toronto will these get messed? or any earbuds or anything? becasue of the wind or something?<br />

Your headphones will not get messed up, I know this because I work at a technology store, and I have been asked this question before. Most headphones are made with a plastic or rubber coating on the outside to prevent things like wind and rain to ruin them. (But only if they are in your ears) so you are good using them basically anywhere!
