Hello,If suppose you submit a post in a google group, and the post contains an active hyperlink, will that link be counted in backlinks to that particular site(link) ?If yes, what value is that backlink compared to a backlink from a normal site.Please guide.same value as on any other site. If the pagerank of that site is high, it's accounted high, but how more your link appears on the same page, the lower the rating gets for that page for your site.Also the page you post on musn't be saturated with too many links, it needs to contain a great deal of text too, will the pagerank remain good effective.MichaelJust make sure you don't use the backlinks shortcut in G. to check if such a link is coming up as G only shows a sample...
