To all webmasters and admin here, I have a couple of questions:
Scenario1
----------
Say, one of my site is hosted wth provider X and domain of the site is maintained at domain registrar Y, I can log in to my account at domain registrar and make all kinds of changes for my domain like name server and all.
I also hv my private name server with IP address.
When I signed in with the host X, they told me to change the Name server for my domain to point it to their Name server. Now as I hv my own private name server, I do not want to use the DNS name of the Host X rather will use the NS of my own. So is that possible? (Please let me know with explanation)
Scenario 2:
------------
Can I use any goddman public IP address as my name server?
Scenario 3:
-------------
When I do a reverse DNS for the IP address for my private name server it does not show the name of my name server, I mean the IP does not resolved to my name server. Is that Okay?
Scenario 4:
-------------
If I have a dedicated IP address from my hosting provider, what purpose I can use it?
