DIV Layering - How do I center?

I'm building a webpage for a local band here in Columbus, OH. I've got it just how I want it, but I can't figure out how to center my layers. Here's the website: <!-- w --><a class="postlink" href="http://www.thehusher.com">www.thehusher.com</a><!-- w -->. />

I want the nav window to be centered, but I can't find any documentation on how to do that...even in the HTML 4 Bible. I know it has something to do with the "position;absolute", but I don't what to put in there. You think the word "center" would do it...but that's to easy. :)<br />

Hey, everybody. So this is our brand-spankin' new website. Its not complete as of yet, but things are changing every day. I've got to hand it to Mr. Dan Hagquist. HE DA MAN!! A fully functional site in about 3 seconds. Thanks Dan.<br />

Our last show (07.25.03) w/ Caustic Resin, the Rancid Yak Butter Tea Party, and Shark Mountain went incredibly well. I think Joel and Steve were about to crap their pants, being the caustic fans that they are. "The Yak" played a smack you in the face-rub your back-grab your butt-punch you in the neck set. Par for the course. You gotta love Yak Butter.<br />

This weekend we'll be @ Little Brother's w/ Manchild, Tuml, and Sidewalk Berzerkers. That's Saturday August 16. Doors at 9pm. We'll have more tshirts for sale, and hopefully some CDs. Hope to see you there. Thats all for now. Check back for frequent updates.<br />
