I was told, inorder to display your desktop, you'll need to take a screenshot. The person who assisted my was very broad in the process, so I'm still lost
Does anyone know how I would go about taking a screen shot and then placing it on my site?<br />

Control-PrintScreen will copy an image of your open window to your clipboard.<br />
<br />
Bring up the "Paint" program and Paste the clipboard in to it.<br />
<br />
Save the file as a BMP or GIF so you have it (but it will be very big).<br />
<br />
Then investigate saving as a JPG or importing the BMP or GIF into another graphics program that can save as JPG. This will produce a smaller file.<br />
<br />
Uploade the small file to your web site using some sort of FTP program, set to Binary (NOT ASCII) mode.<!--content-->don't need to hold control, just hit the print screen button.<!--content-->Umm, Print Screen captures the whole of the desktop. I forgot that one.<br />

The additional suggested keypress modifies the command so that it captures just the open window. This is actually Alt-PrintScrn rather than my earlier guess of Control-PrintScreen.<!--content-->
