displaying a dropdownlist 2 according to selection in dropdown list 1

I have to implement two dropdown lists in my project.one is for states and another for cities.I want that according to the selection of a state, the contents of city dropdown list change.I mean that if a user select MP in state DD list then the city list must display only the cities of MP.
