display setting detection

maybe this is what i want to know. not sure!!!<br />

my home page has a picture that appears different if the users display settings are different.<br />

can i control the way my graphics look on each setting?<br />

the pic is like 1 and 1/5 of a pic if your settings are higher than 800 by 600.<br />

You can read the CSS spec for free though. It's filled with nice examplecode and has a greate index & crossreference.<br />

YEA I HAVE THE CSS CORE BOOK BUT,<br />
I MOVED FROM CHICAGO TO SAN FRANCISCO AND THE BOOK IS IN CHICAGO. IM GOING THERE IN ABOUT A MONTH SO I DONT PLAN ON BUYING IT AGAIN. BUT ITS A GREAT BOOK.<br />
ILL USE THE WEBSITES FOR NOW.<br />
