Difficulty getting Feedburner to recognize original RSS feed

I am trying to create a Feedburner feed for a website. The original feed is specified like this:\[code\]<link href="http://stackoverflow.com/feed/" rel="alternate" title="Atom feed" type="application/atom+xml">\[/code\]The RSS feed appear to work correctly in the browser; however, I can not get Feedburner to recognize the original feed. I've tried:\[code\]http://www.thesite.com/feed/http://www.thesite.com/feed/index.html\[/code\]Can anyone suggest what the problem is? How can I get FeedBurner to recognize the original feed URL? Thanks.
