As we are approaching a PR update (my first on my new site) i have been looking at my backlinks a lot lately.Google said i have 17, now it says i have none. Another backlink checker still says i have 17.... but This backlink checker says i have 396 backlinks. I would like to believe the one that says i have 396 but which one would really be accurate?Are the inconsistencies due to the fact that we are in the process of a backlink update?Google doesn't show all your backlinks, it never will, and you'll have no way of knowing which real backlinks Google does and doesn't know about.Simple as that.Others are showing different numbers because they're probably checking Yahoo, MSN and other Engines, not just Google.When will stuff be reindexed?I have been seeing my backlinks and website disappearing and reappearing over and over again for past 1 week!
