i have problem about Google webmaster tool. I submitted my site in Google web master. After few week latter Google webmaster displaying top keywords for my site are island and republic but my site is related to antique and collectibles these keywords doesn't related to my website so how Google webmaster display that keywords for my site? any solutions how to remove these keywords from Google webmaster. Please help me out from this problem Google displays those keywords based on the significance levels they found while crawling your pages! So concentrate on optimizing your content with your targeted keywords. Next time when Google crawl your page and update the information in your WT dashboard, you can see the changes you have made! When your site is no longer relevant for those terms, they will no longer show up in WT. Do those terms appear on your site? You cannot get the keywords out of Google. As long as Google count only keyword density on your pages, not those keywords that you've put to meta, header, etc. your site can be visible buy other keywords, that are mentioned in the "articles" of your site.
I agree with people here that may be some keywords you mentioned are on your pages and Google decided that your site is relevant for them only.
Think you need to review your pages and implement keywords like "antique". You should also try to you similar keyword to antique, so called similar search queries and put them into your article.
There are some specialesed databases for these purposes. Just use Google to find: "similar keyword databases". Here I found some keyword database may be useful for you www.xedant.com/similar.php Quote: Originally Posted by phpdeveloper Can you elaborate more? so i can give you proper answer. Are those terms 'island' and 'republic' on your pages anywhere? In your text? Or? I suggest you check your metatags first. If the words 'island' and 'republic' are not your priority keywords, then you may edit your metatags and replace it with the keywords that you want to optimize. Or, keep on pushing your target keywords by writing quality contents and link building. Quote: Originally Posted by mjtaylor Are those terms 'island' and 'republic' on your pages anywhere?
