can someone tell me what is the difference between theme and style (color)?
and how can i get some good themes here on vbinfo?

hmmm got me confused.....I would think themes are Warcraft ,Consoul,PS3 etc and colored would be like Big Red, orangeblue, white or black i skin etc.

As far as getting themes or color styles just go to your vbulletin version 3.6x or 3.7X here on the forums and look around im sure you will find something you like.

thanx filez.

i shalll look it up. but evidently i am facing this problem that i have downloaded and installed some 11 styles. however, none of them can over ride the default style.

Even if i do it individually through every forum and sub forum at my site, the CMPS (home pagE) would still run on default.

I cant figure out a way to learn how can i change the styles from the help of a single click and easily.........

could someone guide me please?

form your admin cp > vbulletin options > styles and languages > forum default <--change this to what you want. Also for personal use in usercp edit options and select your theme. I dont have add-ons so really cant say on CPMS maybe one of the admins can advise on that.

When you install a style if you look at the bottom of your forum there will be a dropdown menu. You can select different styles there.

thank you filez, i shall use the method you suggested.

psilocybin, thank you for your help too, but i am aware how to change my own style from the drop down menu,. i was referring to a global change. meaning, without having to go through the individual forums style settings, i could replace the default style with x, y, z style just with minimum work:)

i think if filez7s suggested method works, then probably that is it.:)

thanx anyway, i shall keep you up upprised:)

yes filez, that was it. i was going crazy for over 2 weeks to figure this out. i must have missed it on the manual, even though i went through it for like 5 times......

thank you.

but i still dont know how to make it effective on the CMPS home page.....because it works fine on every forum including main page, but doesnt work on the home page.....

but i guess someone will guide me eventually:)

glad most worked out sorry cant help on the CMPS but I will look for a work around and will post if I find it.
