default sorting options

My forum sorts by alphabetical order, and by "Last Day" order by default, for guest and registered users. How can I change it to "From Beginning", and to "Last (newest) post"? Not just for myself (i know you can change it from the bottom of the forum view), but for all users, without them having to change it.
