I have interest in acquire a dedicated hosting with control panel for a single site, the traffic is about 6K visits/day, with heavy usage of email for at least 30 accounts, Which hardware is the best option? I think a P4 with 1GB ram goes fine but tell me what you think Thanks a lot!P4 system with at least 1GB ram should be sufficient enough. What about a Celeron? ThanksThat should do OK and I presume 500GB bandwidth should be more than enough. Thanks, so a 2.53 celeron with 1gb RAM will work fine? sorry for the doubt but some of the mail users have accounts of more than 100 mb, the mail is for business use. THANKS!Yes. It should work like a charm :)Thanks, so a 2.53 celeron with 1gb RAM will work fine? sorry for the doubt but some of the mail users have accounts of more than 100 mb, the mail is for business use. THANKS!

Yes, the Celeron 2.53GHz with 1gb/RAM can handle the load just fine :)Thank you for you advice, now i need a provider with a great technical support and response time, can you give some advise with this? There are tons of providers out there with the exact setup you need. Depends on your budget and if you're willing to pay alittle more with 'great' technical support and excellent response time. Some provide 24/7 technical support and some only provide it during business hours.OK, so with about 100-150 USD could you tell me the best providers with good 24hs technical support? thanksThat's an excellent budget range. You'll find some providers out there that offer 24/7 technical support and possibly fully managed or semi-managed services included with their servers. You may want to take a look at http://www.iWeb.ca.i was interested in Rackspace but they offer excelent products at a high rate, so i thinking in dedicated now with plesk, anybody has references of they?Plesk is more expensive than cPanel but if you're more comfortable with it, go ahead. You may have to spend more than what you initially suggested. What advantages does a 64 bit processor have with a 64 bit operating systemOne more question, somebody has references of DedicatedNOW? i thinking in purchase a dedicated server from theysingle site, can i ask why you need a Control panel them?

for some people that don't wish to spend "a lot" of money for a control and wish more then webmin :p i have them install DSM http://zervex.com/ 10 dollars a month, they have a free one single user.

I don't know how dedicatednow is but *searching* is available.

ev1servers.net maybe... middle of the US fine for single web hosting. There are TONS of reviews about them. Do a search. There's a current post on Dedicated Forums regarding iWEB and DedicatedNOW. Take a look at that.I call a couple of dedicated hosting providers today, they haven't antispam filters, someone knows a host that provide spam filtering at datacenter level, this is not inside the serverIdologic.com will be a great choice for quality support, quality server and quality bw.I call a couple of dedicated hosting providers today, they haven't antispam filters, someone knows a host that provide spam filtering at datacenter level, this is not inside the server

Some providers will offer anti spam filters for 1 domain and you will need to pay extra for more domains. A good Anti-Spam appliance and service is expensive to maintain. We use the Barracuda Anti-Spam Appliance (http://www.barracudanetworks.com/). You can also use exteral email filtering services as ZeroSpam (http://www.zerospam.ca/index_eng.php) for exemple.

I think you do not really have to mix anti-spam providers with dedicated server providers. If you want anti-spam look for the best anti-spam provider and if you want a dedicated server provider look for the best dedicated server provider.
