Hi, <br /><br />I'm trying to get a list going that will allow me to send emails from a php script directly to the list. On the recommendations of users in this forum and out, I'm looking into dada mail first.<br /><br />The trick is, with dada mail, in order to be able to send a message to the list from <br /><i>outside</i> the dada web interface, you have to set up a separate script called dada_send.pl<br /><br />Some of dada's programmer's admonitions about trying to do so (from the <a href="http://mojo.skazat.com/support/documentation/dada_send.pl.html" target="_blank">dada_send.pl installation page</a>) include:<br /><br /><!--quoteo--><div class='quotetop'>QUOTE</div><div class='quotemain'><!--quotec-->Before you go right into all of this, it might be a good idea to ask your system administrator if this is actually possible. You need to ask them if you are able to set up email addresses that alias to a file. Sorry...)<br /><br />Sorry for not finding before I posted; I had been looking for dada_send.pl, forgetting that it used to be called mojo_send.pl<br /><br />Anyway, for anyone who comes across this topic using dada_send.pl, the short answer is, unless you have dedicated hosting and SSH access, you can't use dada_send.pl.<br /><br />Devan<!--content-->
